Our
experience in the world of education develops very much like a tree; it begins with the roots of our own lives and as
it develops, it branches out in all directions. Each experience is connected in some way to every other experience. Together,
our experience form an entire forest of knowledge and ideas.
I believe educators
should create a safe and compassionate environment where young people can learn about themselves and their world. My
task is to teach students how to think, not what to think, while fostering independence and self-direction. I believe students
are in control of their own learning.
I have created
this website to enrich classroom learning and facilitate communication between students and parents. This is a place for me
to share ideas, sources, and links. Enjoy, and please contact me if you have any questions, concerns, or comments.
